You can also help me out by writing a quick review of the song on iTunes.
Superhero is just the first of many great songs that I hope you will love as much as I do. I know it has taken a bit longer than we all expected, but in the end the difference will be obvious in the quality record. It was really important to me that I didn't just release a bunch of songs that someone else wrote for me. Don't get me wrong, I love recording great music regardless of who wrote it, but I felt strongly that my first album should be something that I wrote (with the help of a couple other really talented people).
Thank you SO MUCH for continuing to support me through this journey! I promise this is just the beginning!

Hey everybody!
I am having a blast out in sunny Los Angeles singing for the hit production "Ballroom With A Twist"! It is the perfect infussion of dancing and music with some of your favorites from Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and (of course) AMERICAN IDOL!
The show is getting RAVE reviews so you have to come check it out if you are in the LA area (or just feel like taking a trip!) But hurry, because we're only here until Feb 13th. Check the EVENTS section of rocktheglock for showtimes and tickets.
Read the reviews in the PRESS section of rocktheglock.com
You never know who you'll run into in LA-LA Land. Oscar winner Jeff Bridges was at the show last weekend and he twirled and dipped me! What a rush! I also ran into Mary Elizabeth Ellis (aka 'the waitress' from Always Sunny) having lunch. Who will be next? I hope its YOU!!!
Talk to you soon,
Gina
We would like to give thanks to YOU for all of your support over the past year. This has been an unbelievable first year for us and we couldn't and wouldn't do it without YOU!
So after all the tryptophan-laced lethargy has had a chance to wear off, come out and party with us this Saturday (Nov 27) @ Shark City in Glendale Heights.
Help us start the holiday season right!
Have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see you this Saturday!

Where do I start!
If you are on my website, then you probably already know that I got the chance to open up for Bret Michaels last week at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles. What a great opportunity to play my original music to an AMAZING crowd! We played a 30 minute set that featured 6 of my songs that will be on my album. I have spent most of my life singing other artist's songs, and as much as I love doing that, it just doesn't compare to singing my own songs.
The show was great and everyone there from the Onesti Entertainment group to Bret's people treated us so wonderfully, but the best part was yet to come. . .
After Bret finished his set I got the chance to hang out for a while. I figured I would just take a picture, shake his hand (or maybe even give him a hug), and be on my way. Bret was one of the nicest and most humble guys I have ever met (and I've met my fair share of celebrities!) He talked to me about my songs (which he really liked!), he gave me advice, and he even asked if I would be interested in opening up for him again! Uh . . . YEAH. Seriously, an amazingly talented performer and a GREAT GUY. Hopefully I will get a chance to open for him again. You'll be the first to know.
Keeping on the subject of my original music, I recently had my first official review! I'll let you read and form your own opinions, but lets just say that I am very happy about it! (Thank you Mario!)

Gonna head up to beautiful Wisconsin for the holiday weekend and then I'm off to Nashville to FINISH my album. The end is VERY near. . . I promise!
Talk to you soon.

This is the same question I keep asking myself!
First of all, THANK YOU to all of you who are still waiting so patiently for my album to be ready. I've been saying 'Its coming!' since last fall and here we are in July still with nothing to give you.
So here is the scoop. The original plan was to release an 8 song album. All of the songs were recorded and ready to go when we ran into a couple problems with the licensing of the songs. There were two songs in particular that we were having difficulty with and they just happened to be the only two songs that I wasn't a writer on. Long story short, I can't put them on my album (at least not at this point). This was really a tough blow for me because they are both really great songs, but that's life.
I contemplated releasing a 6 song EP, but decided to go back to Nashville instead. Sometimes what seems to be these things turn out to be a blessing in disguise. My producer (Adam) and I spent a week in June planning to replace the 2 songs I had lost and ended up with 4 new songs! I can say with complete confidence that these are the best songs yet! The final cherry on top is that now I can say that I wrote every song on my album (a fact I am very proud of).
So where are we now in this process? I will be going back to Nashville in July to record these 4 new songs and we hope to have everything ready by . . . . well, let's just say as soon as possible (I've learned my lesson with promising release dates).
Thanks for sticking with me through this LONG process. I promise you it will be worth the wait.
